..........South East Socialist Labour Party........

The Socialist Labour Party was formed on May Day 1996 after New Labour abandoned any pretence of being a Socialist party, ditched its historic commitment to common ownership and openly embraced capitalism and the 'free market’.

New Labour has accepted policies, which have led to mass unemployment, and refuses to give a commitment to take back into public ownership industries and services privatised by the Tories.

Only Socialist policies can create a caring, democratic society for all our people regardless of age, gender, colour, religion and creed.

Socialism - We believe that common ownership of the means of production is the only long-term solution to the problems facing the British economy.
